Tom Green

Tom Green is owner of Gateways Pastoral Resources.

During his 25 plus years of training, coaching, and studying leaders, Tom watched very effective leaders struggle while starting new jobs following promotions, transfers, and joining successful organizations. Witnessing the high frequency of poor job performance and personal dissatisfaction tied to getting off to a bad start, Tom created and implemented management and executive orientation programs for leaders at all levels.

Tom and the Gateways Pastoral Resources team now teach these same core transitioning principles, practices, and tools to Catholic pastors, parish staffs, and boards and other church leaders as they end and begin new pastoral assignments.

Tom holds a BA degree from Loras College and a MA degree from Drake University. He has worked for Bank of America, ING, Principal Financial Group, and DuPont Pioneer.  He is a trained coach, mediator, and facilitator of dispute resolution. He is also a trained and practicing spiritual director and Stephen Minister. Tom is an active member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Des Moines, Iowa.
